Actually, the lead is slowly dwindling...it was almost 900 the other night (thanks, primarily, to them getting over 300 in votes in less than 2 hours at about 2am).

We'll just quietly chip away.

Then is when people start fading...got keep voting every day! (as many times as you can!)

Well, the Elon game might have been disappointing...but Russ is now as close as he has ever been to first place in the Coach of the Year voting. He is now less than 250 votes down to Stiegelmeier.

Lembo is 25 votes behing for the 5th position. I think it is great that the Southern Conference has three coaches well represented in the post. It says alot for the fans of Chattanooga, Elon, and Appalachian State.

ELIGIBILITY
Active football coaches in all NCAA divisions with a winning record are eligible to receive the 2009 Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year Award. The winner in each division is chosen using a combination of fan votes and votes received from members of the 2009 Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year Selection Committee. To be a finalist, a coach must NOT have had: Major program infractions assessed by the NCAA in the current year (2009) at the school he represents. APR penalties assessed to his program by the NCAA in the last two reporting periods. Or major integrity violations during 2009, as determined solely by Liberty Mutual (also applies to members of coach's staff).
