Mark Philip Schultz (b. 1960) is a retired Olympic and World champion freestyle wrestler and a Distinguished Member of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. He is the brother of the late Dave Schultz, who also won a freestyle wrestling gold medal at the 1984 Olympics. Between them, the Schultz brothers won more NCAA, World, and Olympic titles than any American brother combination in history.

Schultz attended Palo Alto High, coached by Ed Hart and Chris Horpel. He only wrestled his senior year and ended up winning the California state championship (CIF). His coach said that his win could have been a result of wrestling in his brother's shadow.

Schultz won the 1984 Olympic Gold Medal in Freestyle Wrestling. He was also a 3-time NCAA Champion and 2-time World Champion. Schultz later competed in mixed martial arts. At UFC 9 on May 17, 1996, he defeated Gary Goodridge by TKO. He currently works for a masonry contracting company in Denver.

Jeff Ragan who was an All-American at Oklahoma State and who is the asst. coach at the Citadel. He was also a 6x Freestyle All-American. He won 2 state titles in Florida. He was at camp the last two years and has done an outstanding job. He will be covering the skills that he employed to be an All-American at Oklahoma State and the same skills he employs while coaching on the college level. Jeff is also a mathematics professor at the Citadel and understands the importance of the connection between academics and athletics. He will help instill that in our athletes while he is here this Summer. He will also discuss important details such as nutrition, off-season conditioning, lifting, running and what it takes to make it at the college level as a student athlete. I anticipate this to be a truly important time for everyone who aspires to make the jump into collegiate athletics

Coach Eslinger and his wife Brandi have three girls. Brookelyn age 2 and twin girls Madelyn and Keelyn that are 6 months old.

Casey Brewster is entering his second season as the head coach of the Sacred Heart wrestling team. Brewster is a graduate of the University of West Virginia and holds a degree in Athletic Coaching Education. As a competitor at West Virginia, Brewster was the runner-up at the 2004 Eastern Wrestling League Tournament at 125 pounds and qualified for the NCAA Championships. He started his collegiate career at Edinboro before transferring to WVU. After his NCAA eligibility had expired, the NAIA granted him one more semester of eligibility. In this semester Brewster went on to realize his dream to be a collegiate All-American, accomplishing this feat in the 133 lb weight class.

While training with the Mountaineers and the Fighting Scotts, Brewster had the opportunity to train with high-caliber mentors including Zeke Jones (Pennsylvania), now US National Freestyle Head Coach, Lou Rosselli (Ohio State) and Craig Turnbull (WVU). While living in Morgantown, Brewster was a member of the Sunkist Kids Wrestling Club and finished his collegiate career with a record of 66-28.

Brewster is a native Californian and wrestled in the Sacramento Wrestling Association from the ages of five to nine. His family later moved to Nashville Tennessee where he was a four time place finisher, multiple state champion, and high school All-American.

Brewster started his collegiate coaching as a graduate assistant coach at his alma mater. He moved on to Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina to accept the assistant coach position. He remained there until he was hired as the assistant coach at #@%#**%. From #@%#**% Brewster came to Sacred Heart and took over the reigns of the wrestling team as the head coach. Brewster calls his position at Sacred Heart "an honor and a privilige."

Brewster works several Wrestling Camps throughout the country with an emphasis in the eastern states. He also worked as a clinician in California at the camp of his college wrestling coach at WVU, Zeke Jones as well as others.

Casey resides in Bridgeport with his wife Tonia. Together they look forward to building the wrestling program at SHU to highest level of collegiate wrestling.
