Russ Huesman was hard at work at McKenzie Arena on Sunday afternoon, his first full day of work on campus since he was introduced as the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga's new football coach last Monday.
Huesman's office was about as empty as it was when former coach Rodney Allison vacated it more than a month ago. The only evidence there was that a new man was on the job was a laptop computer and a cell phone on his desk.
Of all the details that the 1983 UTC graduate and former Richmond defensive coordinator has to worry about right now - and the list is long - decorating his office would be somewhere near the bottom. At the top are hiring his staff and getting up to speed on recruiting.
