- Connectivity
Review the existing situation, impacts and new ideas as they relate to the site including:
- Vehicular patterns
- Shuttle route
- Bike routes
- Parking location(s) (for building visitor use, not parking as a whole for the campus)
- Pedestrian routes
- Present possibilities for discussion from meetings with City & Carta
- Surroundings
Chamberlain Field
- Is the Master Plan to create a campus green still valid? What uses will remain?
- What about the other surrounding buildings? (Specific discussion regarding South Stadium/stands)
- How does the new library address Chamberlain? Entrance desires?
- What about the connection to the Oak Street area/Development House?
Douglas & Vine Street frontage
· Thoughts on how the building addresses Douglas?
· What about the properties across the street?
· How should the building address Vine Street (and the UC?) Entrance desires?
Other Related Issues
· What are the site line issues and what should be done? (i.e. overhead power lines)
· Landscape/Hardscape/Site Furnishings
