Mocs Return to the Tee Sunday on Kiawah Island
The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team is fresh off a win on Tuesday. They're looking for another this week at the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Spring Classic Sunday through Tuesday.NOTES | LIVE SCORING
CHATTANOOGA---The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team is coming off its second win of the season earlier this week at the USA Women's Invitational in Mobile. The ladies get their first crack at win No. 3 at the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Spring Classic.
The tourney is a three-day, 54-hole event played Sunday through Tuesday. The massive 41-team field plays at both Osprey Point and Oak Point Golf Courses on Kiawah Island, S.C.
The quintet of Emily McLennan (72.72), Megan Woods (74.06), Cris Perez (74.22), Isabella Loza (74.80) and Monica San Juan (76.11) are on quite a roll. They own two wins, two runner-ups and a third-place showing in the last five events.
The Mocs finished fourth in this tournament in the last two seasons. McLennan has two top 10s finishing tied for fourth at +6 in 2014, while her +3 a year ago tied teammate Agathe Sauzon for 10th.
