Men’s Golf Kicks Off Spring Slate in Mobile

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.---The Chattanooga Mocs men's golf team returns to the tee Monday at the Mobile Sports Authority Intercollegiate. The two-day, 54-hole event begins with 36 holes at Magnolia Grove Crossings Golf Course with a final 18 on Tuesday.
"We have a clean slate," coach Mark Guhne said. "I don't think the fall is indicative of the potential for this team. Our goals are still right in front of us.
"It starts Monday."
Chattanooga is one of 14 teams in this year's field. It includes two top 5 squads in No. 2 Wake Forest and No. 4 Auburn. The lineup includes Wes Gosselin (72.79), Andrew Weathers (74.73), Brooks Thomas (75.00), Kory Webb (76.71) and Lake Johnson (77,86). Stuart Thomas (75.00) is competing in the USA Individual.
