Men’s Golf Plays in Weather-Shortened Wolfpack Fall Open
The Chattanooga Mocs head to N.C., for the third event of the fall season.
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.---The Chattanooga Mocs men's golf team is back in
action Monday at the Wolfpack Fall Open. The tournament, played at
Lonnie Poole Golf Club in Raleigh, N.C., is shortened from 54 to 36
holes due to weather.
The squad heads into Monday's 18 looking to continue its improvement made from the Carpet Capital to the Janney VCU Shootout.
"We are looking for consistency," coach Mark Guhne said. "We got off to a great start the last time out but didn't maintain that level of play. It's a great lesson for our young team. We're prepared, working hard and just focused on getting better every week."
The lineup is the same for the second straight event. Juniors Wes Gosselin and Brooks Thomas, sophomores Stuart Thomas and Andrew Weathers and freshman Lake Johnson round out this week's squad with Kory Webb playing as an individual.
