KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. --- Freshman Mette Kryger (Nivaa, Denmark) led the Chattanooga Mocs with a 73 (+1) in the first round of the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Classic Sunday on Cougar Point Golf Course. Kryger paced the Mocs to a tie for sixth with Arkansas-Little Rock shooting 309 as a team.
Kryger tied her season-best with her 73 today. She is tied for seventh, four shots behind the leader, Natalie Wille of Augusta State, who shot three-under par 69. Kryger birdied two of her first three holes and made the turn at one under. She had four
