CHATTANOOGA (6-4, 5-2 SOCON) AT NO. 9 WOFFORD (8-2, 6-1)
Kickoff: 1:30 p.m.
Series record: Tied, 8-8
What to know: Chattanooga's playoff hopes have yet to be extinguished. To get to the NCAA's magical, yet unofficial, number of seven Division I wins, the Mocs must defeat a strong Wofford team on Saturday.
While Wofford likely has a strong enough record to get in as an at-large selection, a win couldn't hurt the Terriers chances, and they know this. They also are looking to rebound after a 43-13 trouncing in the de facto conference title game against Appalachian State last week.
While Wofford has the best passing defense in the league (151.4 yards per game), it showed vulnerability against Appalachian State, allowing Brian Quick to catch five passes for 73 yards and two touchdowns.
Chattanooga has the No. 2 passing offense in the league (281.8 yards per game) and while the rushing attack isn't of the ilk of Wofford's, it does average a respectable 159 yards per game.
You have to attack Wofford with poise and balance. Chattanooga appears to have plenty of both.
Prediction: Chattanooga, 27-24
