SPARTANBURG, S.C. --- Sophomore Donna-Kay Henry and freshman Becca Smith were both honored by the Southern Conference Wednesday morning as the league announced its postseason awards.

Henry (Queens Village, N.Y.) earned a spot on the All-Conference Second Team for the second straight year while Smith (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) was named to the All-Freshman team.

Smith led the Southern Conference in six categories throughout the year and was ranked as high as first in the nation for assists per game and second in points per game. She closed out the season remaining a Top 20 scorer in the nation according to the NCAA. She finished the season leading in points (28), points per game (1.75), goals (11), goals per game (0.69), shots (82) and shots per game (5.12). She was ranked third in assists (6) and assists per game (0.38) in the SoCon.
