I'm all for real student-athletes but lets be honest, much of the sport is now semi-professional, in everything except for the fact that those providing the entertainment aren't compensated.

Aren't compensated? I know you are aware of the value of a full scholarship and how much it costs to go some of these schools. At some schools they are effectively being paid over $50,000 a year.

You should watch the video I posted.  Some of these schools don't actually educate the student athletes, they put them into push over classes so that they have the GPA necessary to compete...  the true value of a scholarship is based on what you learn...  if you learn nothing, the true value is nothing.
