Rachel Giampapa admitted to about 200 people on Wednesday she committed to the game of soccer "when I was 11 years old and woke up one morning and told my parents I wanted to play soccer instead of softball."

Seven years later, that decision is paying off as Giampapa – a senior at University School of Jackson – officially signed her national letter of intent to play college soccer at the University of Chattanooga.
