I would have argued that Davidson is the most improved team in the conference (but Wofford beating this week would make my argument look rather silly)...they are definitely not your typical gawd awful terrier teams.

It was an interesting game, I was impressed with their improvement, but I was never really worried the LMs wouldn't win...and while they didn't play well (inconsistent), all it took was for them to step on the gas one time near the end to win.

Last year, the LMs might have lost that game.

(BTW...I rarely ever say a word about refs...but good Lord, those three tonight were absolutely horrible...but at least they were pretty consistently horrible to both teams)

Biggest difference this year for the LMs is that people aren't afraid to take a shot (it seemed like the last year or two, no one wanted to shoot...no one was the "go to"...everyone wanted to pass the ball)...Now you have Black and Christopher and Hood and Hall and DuPree and Lambert...all of those girls can score and aren't afraid to take a shot.
