I can see why he won his appeal. It may not be ethical but it was within the letter of the law.
I know people who are IN jail and OUT of jail because of how the law reads (sometimes it plays in your favor or against you).
This NCAA rule is clear about a "student" transferring. Either it applies to all or it applies to none, like the person or not.
The intent may be bogus, but it is legit on paper (which is the only thing that will matter in a lawsuit). The NCAA knew that they would make Masoli and his lawyers rich with a denial.
Let's say this happens to any one of us. Would we use the loophole? You bet. Human nature is fickle, it wants what it wants.
And within or without the law....it will try to get everything it's way.

With that said.....the State of Mississippi must have a helluva Parks and Rec System.
