Brooke was nominated and was heavily lobbied to the company that produces the event.

Sadly (and this comes from another source that I talked to last year)...the company producing the event put more focus on a "name school" (what a shock) than the person shooting. All you gotta do is look at the list above (Big 10, SEC, ACC x2, Big East...and one mid) to see what I mean.

Brooke didn't hit a terribly high percentage this year and I think that hurt her...I was hoping her great performance in the NCAA and the fact that she is dead on accurate in a "practice situations" (aka no hand in her face) might have been enough to get her in.

Would have loved to be able to watch and see what she could do in a competition like that.
