Yes...it has been mentioned on numerous boards for the last couple of months (since winter AD meetings) that the conference had decided to stick to 20 games, even though it will once again be unbalanced.

This concession was made to the schools that complain that they struggle to schedule enough OOC games (most notably, because the commish pointed them out...WCU, GSU and Wofford)

If you add in the new mandate about scheduling no more than 2 Non DI's, puts a further squeeze on schools like Wofford and The Citadel (that typically schedule 3 or 4 of them a year), I think the 20 games schedule was a concession.

Have I mentioned lately that Wofford hasn't had a DI out of conference home game in over 2 years? (their entire home OOC the last two seasons has been Non DIs)

None of it is perfect...but, it is a small step in the right direction.
