I hate to say it, but only a few of us will be at the game this weekend. I'm not ever sure I'll show up early enough to make putting the banner up worth my time. I got a 4 hour drive Saturday mornign to the game, vs my normal 1 hour, 45 minutes.

This is a great promotion, but the first that I have heard of it and we are 4 days away..With us playing the Citadel, if promoted right a good response should happen..I look forward to getting there early and enjoying the pre game..I understand a lot of unofficial visiters will be there..

Saturday is Military Appreciation and Hometown Heroes Day, so any active duty or retired military will be admitted free with valid Military ID. Also any Emergency Services personnel (firefighters, EMS, police, etc.) will be admitted free of charge with their ID.

I will say this for the students, there was a small but very vocal group of them in Boone. They were impressive, particularly at those times when the App fans seems to prefer peace and quiet!

The students need to be challenged to come out and make a statement. Who knows, they may catch Mocs Fever and come to all athletic events.
