I hate to hear this as I felt like he was a huge young talent on this team. I have no idea what he did, but I hope he gets everything straightened out and makes a big impact on the football field next season. We are going to need him to step up and replace Blue and Clint.

Beard had seven sacks in October and leads the nation with 10 1/2. He also had 25 tackles and a forced fumble. He was named the SoCon's defensive player of the week for Oct. 10 following his seven-tackle, two-sack performance against Samford.
