That's the opinion of Greater Chattanooga Sports and Events Committee president Scott Smith, who said 7,241 tickets had been sold locally as of Wednesday afternoon. Chattanooga has hosted the FCS title game since 1997 but will vie with the Dallas suburb of Frisco for the 2010-12 matchups.

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga athletic department doesn't have a policy regarding the use of hostesses, athletic director Rick Hart said, because "we don't use them."
